Read Through the New Testament With Us in 2023

God loves spending time with His kids!
One of the most important things we can do as believers is to spend time with Him. And one of the most important things we can do in spending time with God is listening to His voice in His Word.
Normally, when people try to read through the Bible they begin in Genesis on January 1 and read chapter after chapter until they finish Revelation 22 on December 31. That’s not a bad plan. In fact, you can find a lot of good plans on the Internet that can help you read through the Bible.
In 2023, we will use Discipleship Journal’s 5x5x5 Reading Plan to read through the New Testament. It may sound like a lot, but it will only take about five minutes each day, five days each week. If you get behind, it will be easy to catch back up!
You can download a copy of it here to print and keep it in your Bible; just mark your completed readings as you go. Or, if you prefer, you can use the Bible App. With the Bible App, you can track your progress as you read. The Bible App lets you choose from several Bible versions, many of which will actually read the Bible text aloud to you on your smartphone, tablet, or computer if you wish.
To use the Bible App, go to the Bible.com website or use the App and create a (FREE) account. Log into the App or the website, then simply click the link above on January 1, choose your preferred Bible translation, and let the Bible App escort you through “Discipleship Journal’s 5x5x5 Reading Plan”. You might want to try a translation you haven’t used before. I’ll use the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) again this year because I find it to be an accurate, yet easy-to-understand Bible translation.
I believe that God will reward your diligence!
